25% of Navy seals will die before 30. 2% will die in training. And even if you beat the odds, your body will be broken from the demand of the job. Is it still worth it? Hooyah.
Damn right it is! Hooyah!
LOL Definitely won’t kill myself to show off. I do worry that I might eat myself to death at the chow hall. Carlos loves free food lol
LOL yeah it is an all you can eat buffet :) Also, say goodbye to having warm, non-wet feet!
I hate getting my damn feet wet
I’m more worried about getting my hair wet, and all that sand…ick!!:(
Honestly though, I firmly believe in the concept of the warrior-scholar and that suffering is a prerequisite for anything worth having. I’m also kind of a sick fuck, and honestly, you have to be a little ‘unconventional’ to condition yourself for hours a day just to have the chance to volunteer to go through what the average person would call torture. The average human life span isn’t nearly long enough to experience all the cool shit in existence so when I come to the end of mine, I don’t want to say “I sure am glad I played it safe all those years and did nothing to fully actualize and utilize my physical and mental abilities and talents”.
